iPads for Kids Program
The iPads for Kids Program was implemented at SCH in 2013 with the goal of touching patient lives by creating a positive, personalized source of entertainment during their time at the hospital. We currently serve all Inpatient Units at the hospital and are expanding our reach throughout their Outpatient Units. We also provide iPad support for the hospital’s Child Life Specialists, Art Therapists, Music Therapists, and Recreational Therapists.
The Bungie Foundation provides iPads and other electronic support for SCH Autism Center’s Tech University Program, which aims to allow children to play, communicate, and connect with others through technology.
Alyssa Burnett Adult Life Center
The Bungie Foundation has multiple projects with the Alyssa Burnett Adult Life Center, which we are working towards finalizing this year. These projects include building out a gaming room for students to interact with each other as well as a Career Preparation Center, where students can learn skills that will help them enter the workforce, including resume writing and interview prep!
